Since 2009, Argosy have produced Halloween events at Ruislip Lido Railway. The first show, The Mad Bess Express was produced by the creative inspiration of Sam Webb.

The Mad Bess Express was so popular, extra shows were added to cope with public demand. The following year, Argosy were back with a new story Escape From Asylum Wood.

In 2011, an opportunity came along to move the event to Harrow museum. This was quite a different show, with the story based around the hauntings at Headstone Manor.

For Halloween 2012, the event returned to Ruislip Lido Railway, with the theme of a virus breaking out in Ruislip.

The success of the shows are not just down to our talented cast and the creative direction, but also the dedicated team of technicians that work tirelessly in the background, without them we would have no production. All of them have worked with us since The Mad Bess Express.

The special effects team, Chris and James who always create the right atmosphere using various lighting techniques, smoke and pyrotechncics. Denis Cater, from DJC Sound Systems and his team Ron, Mike and Sean spend many hours laying cables moving equipment around the Lido in often the wet and the cold to bring the best possible sound for our shows.

Working in collaboration with the Ruislip Lido Railway, Argosy are very greatful to Murray Bolter and the staff at the railway for all their support over the last 3 years.
